Thomas Rickert at ICANN 52
In March 2014 the US Administration announced it wanted to give up stewardship of the IANA functions, if a suitable proposal was submitted.
Since then, various groups have been working intensively on concepts for the “IANA Stewardship Transition”. Thomas Rickert is one of the three chairs of the Cross Community Working Group on Enhancing ICANN Accountability. This group will meet for several days at the 52nd Conference of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names & Numbers, to be held in Singapore from 8-12/02/2015. For more information, together with the agenda and opportunities for remote participation, see singapore52.icann.org/en/schedule-full.
